Sustainability Framework

Our vision is to deliver a triple positive impact in the places where we source and grow our products.

We work across our businesses, and with our partners, to create and sustain living landscapes, where prosperous farmers, thriving rural communities, and healthy ecosystems coexist.

Over 1,000 dedicated staff embedded in businesses, countries and functions across the world help us to deliver our strategy and targets, helping us to make the business resilient and deliver long-term value for Onat and our stakeholders.

In 2018 we refreshed our global Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CR&S) framework to integrate our new purpose to Re-imagine Global Agriculture: Growing Responsibly.

We expanded our priority areas from 7 to 10 (also known as ‘material areas’). We then mapped these to the relevant UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as well as the 9 Planetary Boundaries identified by the Stockholm Resilience Centre.

We report on our progress in our Annual Report and separate Global Reporting Initiative Report. Our most recent reports are for the year 2017. We next publish in April 2019.

We are guided by our sustainability principles:
